Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

Following recent news coverage about RAAC, we have now taken all necessary steps to ensure your homes are safe.

RAAC is a lightweight form of concrete used in roof, floor, cladding and wall construction in the UK from the mid-1950s to the mid-1990s and whilst it was mainly used in offices and schools, it has been found in a range of buildings.

We have now carried out a thorough review and surveyed all our buildings with flat roofs that were built during this time, and found no evidence of RAAC in any homes.

The use of RAAC was not widespread in social housing, but your safety is our top priority and it was important for us to carry out our own research to be sure.
